For awhile,I thought i was afraid Star Trek was a passing away franchise. Then JJ Abrams came along. Great touch. The scene with kid Kirk was a tad too quirky in the film, though it was popular in the movie trailer. Star Trek XI breathed new life into this much loved Roddenberry universe. I'd like to see all of this Enterprise cast come back for further outings. I spent my childhood years with the primary series. Heck, my father got us a color TV just so we could enjoy Star Trek just about every Friday night. Now, I'm stuck on these new actors. In MHO, they've breathed life into their characters and made them their own. I, personally, am looking forward to more.

I knew the second I started writing this one he was on to me, and I really didn't feel as though it was worth trying to course-correct the interview would get me into his mind any better, so I just let him run with it. It really does bring out the darker fey aspects of his personality in a way I hadn't seen clearly before, I think.

I like it, Sorta flaunting that he's above you in every way. Again i like that the character never really gives a straight answer to anything. Though in this interview it feels more like the interviewer was the interviewee.

Ok this is actually one of my favorite character archetypes in fantasy. Fascinating to meet for a drink in a pub, but you're very careful to make sure he doesn't know where you live.

I liked it. She's mysterious without it being adversarial or antagonistic. Definitely a less is more character in terms of how she speaks.

She's very subtle and hard to corner, but in the end she satisfied my 'has to say something to surprise me' qualification for an interview. I had an idea that she was a sadder, darker character than I'd originally envisioned, but her skill at deferral and evasion, her curious physicality and the extent of her fatalism weren't elements I was clear on.

I wasn't expecting to work the scene with stilted 19th century dialogue either, but she wasn't responding well to a more rustic approach -- which is also oddly telling.
